CMS based eCommerce

Content Management Systems are great for self-management of a site and tend to offer a huge variety of general purpose extensions. Our CMS based eCommerce solution is ideal for a site that primarily requires content management features but also requires a store. The CMS based stores are very functional and also customisable, but lack certain features that may be offered by a full eCommerce solution.

For customisation flexibility we prefer Drupal CMS and Ubercart, but Joomla and Virtuemart is also a good choice. Both of these are open-source.

Full eCommerce Solution

Our standalone eCommerce solution is aimed at larger businesses who want to take control of their eCommerce solution themselves, or for stores where there are special requirements. Unfortunately many stores lack general purpose content management features and extensions, but on the other hand they have some fantastic store specific features that you will not find in a CMS.

We build our full eCommerce systems on Magento, an open-source eCommerce software stack.

Magento is a big web application and would probably be very slow on a public web hosting service. It really requires a private hosting service, which we can provide at a very economical cost.

Premium Web Hosting Services

Whilst a store may work well on a public web hosting server, many public hosting services suffer from overloading and and an inconsistent experience for your customers.

Most stores would benefit from a premium hosting service such as offered by Arrow Technology and our services have very economical rates with some re-assuring features such as triple backups every day, so you know your site and data are well protected.

Using our hosting services does not restrict you from moving your store to another hosting service in the future. We do not offer proprietary services or try and lock you in.
